IS REBOUND NICE SOLUTION AFTER BREAKUP?

Different people take heart breaks differently, for some, it feels like their whole world is caving in on them. And in many cases, because the pain is so great and the path to mending it seems so daunting, people avoid healing their broken heart. This avoidance can lead to many unwanted side effects, including, but not limited to, greater internal conflict, complicated emotional responses, withdrawal, and looking for a rebound.

But is looking for a rebound a good solution for a heart break? No, don’t go into rebound dating. While it is important to move on and be around other people, beware of rebound dating. Rebound dating is when you jump into a new relationship without getting to know the person in the hopes that this new relationship will heal your broken heart. Unfortunately, rebound dating usually results in another break up and more heart-break.

Rebound dating also causes you to compare the new person with your last love. Comparing others never works. You likely have a distorted view of your last love. No one will meet those standards.

Moreover, think about that other person you are getting into a relationship with for your own benefit. The thing about hurt people is that they hurt people. It’s that simple. We’ve all heard that before and it couldn’t be truer. We want temporary relief from our own pain so we cause a little bit of pain to another person who might have genuine feelings for you. So instead of listening to your heart that’s screaming at you to get in a rebound relationship, try thing of something else like taking a time out for self-realization. Probably you have lost yourself in the pain, before getting in any relationship take time to heal.
